Introducing Brand Monitoring

Brand Monitoring re-checks your name every week against trademarks, domains, and social handles, tracks domain expirations, and watches for new business registrations.

Screening a name tells you where it stands today. Monitoring tells you when that changes.

Around 15,400 new businesses register every day in the US. About 2,100 trademark applications get filed. Your name screened clear in March. That says nothing about June.

Brand Monitoring watches your name so you don't have to.

What it watches

Every week, we re-check each monitored name against live USPTO trademarks, domain availability across five TLDs, and social handles. Every month, we sweep business registries across five states for new entity registrations.

We also watch the domains themselves. If a domain you want is taken, we track its expiration date and registration status, so you know when it enters a grace period and when it might actually drop. And if a parked domain suddenly comes alive with a real site and search traffic, that means someone is building on the name, and you'll see it.

Your brand, or one you're watching

When you add a name, you tell us one thing: is this your brand, or one you're watching?

For your own brand, we'll also remind you before your domain expires, because losing your own domain to a missed renewal is a real and stupid way to lose a brand.

For names you're watching, a competitor, a name you want, a name you're waiting on, you get the change intel without the renewal nagging.

Where it lives

Monitoring has its own home in the app. Every monitored name shows its check history, current score, and a domain lifecycle table that tells you what happens next for each TLD, not just whether it's taken.

Monitoring is included with Pro. Five names, checked every week, without you thinking about it.
